[In the Line of Fire] [Tools of the Trade] [Guns] [Alternate Lifepath Rules] [Timeline]
Cyberpunk 2020 - The original roleplaying game of the dark future So what do we have here for you right now? First of all, there's In the Line Of Fire, "An Alternate Brutality for Cyberpunk 2020" - exclusively at the Villa Straylight. It's the revised Combat System we use. But be warned: This system is realistic - and therefore deadly! If you (or your players) prefer the "I'm a cyborg, so you can't kill me, asshole" approach, it might not be for you. As a Companion Volume to In the Line Of Fire, we have just released Tools of the Trade. This set of rules covers anything that you can do to customize a firearm... and more! There's rules for demolitions, armor and even some clarification about what a smartgun can do - and what it can't! To apply all these rules, you'll need guns! Lots of guns! So we have assembled a list of guns that might come handy some day or the other. The guns on the list are part real guns like those from the 'Old guns never die' section, part from the rulebook and part homebrew by Ironmonger. (Guess which ones are the nastiest...) Then we have some Alternate Character Generation Rules. Nice stuff. I haven't used the regular lifepath from the rulebook since I got these. Forget about stereotype roles and all that. Just make up the character you always wanted to play. Need to look up something in the timeline? When was that special event your players asked for? We have an edited timeline here, a mixture of the original one from the rulebook and some "real life" events we thought should find their way into gameplay. Note that this timeline is in German. I don't feel like translating it... Coming up next...
